What we do

Thank you! We usually use this term to close a speech, to end a sentence, as a final greeting.

But, in this section, it takes on a different meaning: it is the basis of what the Foundation has achieved up to now, of what it does on a daily basis and of the future projects it will be able to achieve together with all of you.

Since 1986, the Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro has made a significant contribution to the defeat of the disease, by funding the research and treatment activities of the Candiolo Cancer Institute – IRCCS, which combines scientific research with clinical practice and makes available cancer patients the best human and technological resources available today. The Foundation’s mission is to ensure the efficiency of the structure, services and scientific values, guaranteeing the constant implementation and supply of cutting-edge technologies.

Thanks to supporters we have achieved what we planned 35 years ago, together with supporters we make available the best cancer therapies available today, with supporters we have designed and are building the Candiolo Cancer Institute – IRCCS of tomorrow. We have done a lot, but we want to do more with you.
